Award season is in full flow and we have…

Brit awards on Saturday 1^st, followed by the Oscars on Sunday 2nd

 

On Mon 3^rd – the Mobile World Congress tech show in Barcelona starts and it’s Paris Fashion Week

 

Thurs 6^th – UK interest rate decision, and on Sat 8^th it’s International Women’s Day

 

Tuesday 11^th sees 5 years since the World Health Organisation declared Covid 19 a pandemic

 

On Friday 14^th, the UK’s GDP figures are out, and in sport it’s the Cheltenham Gold Cup with the Formula 1 season starting on Sunday 16th

 

Also Mid-month, we have St Patrick’s Day on Mon 17^th, then the UK interest rate decision on 20^th

 

There’s a LibDem Spring conference on Friday 21^st, 5 years since the UK’s first Covid lockdown on 24th, and at the end of the month it’s Mothers Day on Sunday 30^th along with a partial solar eclipse, and Eid as Ramadan ends…then the clocks go forward as British Summer Time finally begins on 31st
